Deadpool Celebrates the Joy of Painting in New ‘Deadpool 2’ Teaser (VIDEO)

"Lemme just whack off again." I must admit that as much as I want to dislike Ryan Reynolds, his turn as Deadpool has proven to be a truly sublime bit of casting. He's at it again in this new Deadpool 2 teaser, spending most of the spot spoofing Bob Ross and painting something truly unique and special.

Make sure you stick through it til the end as the footage from the film only comes in the teaser's final thirty seconds. Not that any of us really need to be sold on this sequel at this point, but it is always nice to see actual film footage in a teaser. Sadly that footage is secondary to Reynolds' riffing on Bob Ross' laconic manner and funny paint names. I think we could all use a dab of Phthalo Blue, Van Dyke Brown, and Alizarin Crimson on our canvasses. 

The biggest downer is that Deadpool 2 has been bumped to summer now that it's a proven property, so the wait for the sequel will be longer than expected. I'm sure we'll see a lot more, including footage of Josh Brolin's Cable and Zazie Beetz' Domino. Deadpool 2, or whatever stupid subtitle they decide to give it, hits theaters on June 1.
