“Clowns For Christ” Is A Contradiction

I'm a big fan of crappy Christian entertainment. I've seen every movie Kirk Cameron has ever put out, I am an avid fan of Jack Chick comics, and I thoroughly enjoy a bad religious puppet show. If you've never seen Willie Ames play Bibleman, you are missing out, my friends. But one thing I will never understand is Christian clowns. There is a ministry in Ohio called "Clowns for Christ" that uses the terrifying world of clowning to scare people into believing. The reason this makes no sense to me is that clowns are by their very nature evil Satanic minions sent from the bowels of hell to eat our faces off with their sharp sharp teeth. The only thing that makes any sense to me is that these murderous yucksters are using the churches in order to gain access to delicious child meat. I'm surprised a clown can even enter a church without bursting into flames.

There is no way this is not sinister. If a clown comes up to you talking about Jesus, bury an ax in their head and run away.
