GAMING

2013, as you may have noticed if you weren't drunk for all 364 days of it, was the year of the next generation consoles. The year that important-looking bigwigs in business suits swaggered onto stages and announced that their new console is the best new console, and they'll eat your elderly mother if you don't buy it.
Responding to this call to arms, gamers across the world queued in ball-shrivelingly cold midnight temperatures to get their hands on launch systems. Crazy, crazy times.
But that was back in 2013. Like, so totally last week, as they'd probably say in Mean Girls or some BS like that. Here we are emerging on the glorious new plateaus of 2014, and we need more than that. Such as, for instance, a selection of games that can do justice to Xbox One and PS4‘s potential. After all, the launch lineups were a little wanktastic.
Well, fear not, gentlemen. Take a look above, as IGN bring us a fleeting preview of some of the great stuff coming right at our faces this year. South Park: the Stick of Truth, Halo 5, Watch Dogs, Titanfall... hell yeah.
