The FPS genre is, by definition, pretty damn samey. Much as we all revel in the chance to shoot curse-happy opponents whose balls haven't dropped yet in Call of Duty, or cruise about with a squad of our space marine brethren in Halo, revolution is hard to come by round these parts.
What shooters need is a big ol' injection of badassery. The chance to stop dicking around with our feeble pistols and such, and instead ride a huge eff off mech through the crimson tide that is the blood leaking from your shattered foes' eyes and asses. Or something dramatic and slightly demented like that. Well, fear not, because Titanfall's next-gen death bots are here, and they're going to trample your ‘nads into Spam.
The ‘Titans' available to you in combat will differ in abilities and so forth, depending on the class you elect to go with. The huge shiny bastard above is the Atlas class Titan, allegedly ‘the workhorse of the Titan fleet.' But just how will it measure up next to the Stryder Titan and Ogre Titan? We don't yet know, but judging by its ability to knock a fellow giant mech on its ass with a punch, pretty damn well.
