BBC America Tells the Story of James Bond Creator Ian Fleming (Video)

They say truth is stranger than fiction. In the case of Jame Bond, that's nonsense, considering the franchise includes villains with metal teeth and hollowed out volcano fortresses.



That said, the truth behind the iconic film franchise is still pretty fascinating considering the main character was created by and based on real-life British spy Ian Fleming. And Fleming's story is coming to BBC America in the form of a miniseries: Fleming: The Man Who Would be Bond.



Did Fleming fight bad guys in outer-space or drive an invisible car? No. But he was a spy during World War II, and from the looks of it, he banged a lot of women. That right there is enough to keep me entertained for a few nights.


Fleming: The Man Who Would Be Bond premieres January 29th at 10 PM EST/PST on BBC America.
