Pussy Riot To Be Let Out The Box

The odyssey of Pussy Riot seems to be coming to an end as the Ruskies prepare to release the last two members from prison. Adezhda Tolokonnikova and Maria Alyokhina will be set free as part of a general amnesty in anticipation of the Sochi Olympics. Old butch Vladimir Putin has come under a lot of scrutiny lately, not only for locking up Pussy Riot for singing a crappy song, but because of his mistreatment of gay people. You'll recall that last year the members of the terrible terrible punk band Pussy Riot were arrested for singing an anti-Putin song in a Moscow cathedral. They received harsh two-year sentences for what is at worst a misdemeanor offense. The international community universally condemned the action and we all got to hear big time politicians all over the world say the words Pussy Riot.

Putin is a bastard, even if he is kinda dreamy. Obviously Russia is not as free and democratic as they pretend to be. It just goes to show you that my Cuban grandfather was right. Once a commie a-hole, always a commie a-hole.
