The backlash against the casting of Ben Affleck as Batman has been pretty impressive, even by bitchy fanboy standards. But that doesn't seem to bother Warner Bros. CEO Kevin Tsujihara. In a recent interview with Variety, Tsujihara maintained that Affleck is the 'perfect' choice to play the Caped Crusader, and that the film is 'going to be huge.'
Of course, even if he was worried (which he probably isn't), it's not like he's going to come out and say, 'We didn't expect this backlash, and we're scared sh*tless!' In Hollywood, people have been known to lie from time to time. It's true. You can look it up.
On a more interesting note, Tsujihara also gave some insights into the character, claiming that this film's Batman would be 'tired and weary and seasoned and been doing it for awhile.' That description can also apply to most 23-year-old females working in the San Fernando Valley, but I digress. (Source)
