So your landlord doesn't allow pets. Bummer. That doesn't mean you still can't have pets, though. You technically won't be able to 'raise' these pets, but hey, they're better than nothing.
These robotic fishes are called the Hexbug Aquabots and they actually swim in water like real fishes do. What you won't have to do is feed them or clean their tank because, no duh, they're not actually alive.
These frisky robotic fishes automatically swim and turn 'on' when they come in contact with water. They'll only swim for five minutes a time, though, to conserve battery and to ensure that they'll keep on swimming longer. Unlike real fishes, though, it's not recommended to keep a bunch of these Aquabots in a single tank because their electromagnetic propulsion system thingies might interfere with one another. Hmph. Now where's the fun in that?
These Aquabots are available in a variety of colors and species, from miniature sharks to clown fishes.
