If there's anything to be learned from Jaws, it's that you should never go swimming with sharks...unless you've got something like this wetsuit on. It's the 'Elude' blue-and-white wetsuit that's apparently anti-shark.
Hamish Jolly and Craig Anderson are the dynamic duo who worked with the University of Southern Australia to come up with this thing. You already know what it means when someone's working with a school to come up with something that sounds totally unreal: it's probably legit.
So how does Elude work? Basically it's all about colors and the fact that sharks are color blind.
Two different suits are available: one makes you invisible, while the other renders you less palatable. I'd go with the first suit any day. The combination of the white and blue hues on the wetsuit play on the sharks' weakness in vision so you can swim and dive and try to find Nemo without worrying about being a Great White's lunch.
The suits have been tested with tiger sharks to much success, while black suits thrown into the tank were ravaged and torn to pieces.
