Hey Look Behind Michael Keaton: It’s a Dude In a Birdman Costume!

Who's that stalking Michael Keaton? It's a bird. It's a...well, you get the idea: it's Birdman. And why should we care about Batman getting followed by a man in a goofy-looking bird-hero costume? Because it's part of Alejandro González Iñárritu's upcoming meta-superhero epic, Birdman. And it will probably be pretty badass.

We care about it because it was made by the same guy who made Amorres Perros, for one. And two, features Keaton playing a washed-up actor who once played a legendary superhero who's now just trying to stay in the game (see what they did there?). With the photos we've seen, it looks like a worse-f0r-wear Keaton is going to be tormented in some way by his superhero alter ego. He also flies, it would seem. We wonder if we say 'Birdman' enough times, he'll actually appear Beatlejuice-style.

Word on the street is that it will also star Edward Norton,Emma Stone, and Naomi Watts. That might be cool?
