Break Out The Pig’s Blood: The Trailer For The ‘Carrie’ Remake Is Here (VIDEO)

The trailer for the remake of Carrie is here. I'm supposed to say "reimagining" instead of remake, but I won't, because it's stupid.

The film stars Chloë Moretz as the titular Carrie, and Julianne Moore as her overbearing religious mother. For those unfamiliar with the story, it involves a young girl with telekinetic powers who is mocked and publicly ridiculed until she snaps. I'm not sure if you've ever seen someone with telekinetic powers snap, but I can tell you it's not pretty.

The film will be released on October 18, 2013, just in time for Halloween. I'm sure a lot of horror fans are excited about this, but Brian De Palma is probably rolling over in his grave, which is odd, because he's not dead.
