Let the final countdown begin. Netflix has confirmed that Arrested Development's resurrection will take place on Sunday, May 26th at 12:01 AM PDT, at which time subscribers will have access to 15 brand-spanking-new episodes. This means fans of the sitcom will be able to plow through the entirety of season four in a single day, as opposed to having to watch each episode piecemeal over the course of four months. Ain't technology grand?

Despite its rabid cult following, Arrested Development was cancelled back in 2006 due to lackluster ratings. Since its demise, there have been countless rumors and false starts involving the show's possible return. But now that the Bluth Family is really coming back, there's nothing left for fans to do except set unrealistically-high nostalgia-fueled expectations that can't possibly be met.
