TV & FILM

My general problem with horror movies is that the trailers for the movie are always 100x better than the movie itself. In short, two to three minute spurts, the movie looks absolutely terrifying and I feel like when I watch it I'll end up crapping my pants, when all I ever end up doing is just peeing myself. Bogus. That's why I'm genuinely intrigued by the new movie The ABCs of Death, a series of 26-short horror films, each only a few minutes long and each directed by a different person, including the directors of The House of the Devil, Hobo with a Shotgun, Hitman and 23 others.
The film is divided into twenty-six individual chapters, each helmed by a different director assigned a letter of the alphabet. The directors were then given free rein in choosing a word to create a story involving death. The varieties of death range from accidents to murders
The ABCs of Death opens January 31st on VOD and in theaters March 8th.
