3D-Printed Figurines–Because Flat Images Just Don’t Cut It Anymore

Flat, 2D images are so yesterday. Haven't you heard? 3D printing has been the rage these past few months and you might just see a couple of 3D printer photo booths setting up shop near you or at events that you might be attending in the near future.

They don't work like normal digital cameras because apparently, you'd have to hold your pose for 15 minutes while the printer gets to work. (But, you know, you're still welcome to do those kissy lips and funny faces, as long as you can keep it up for a quarter of an hour!)

The subjects can choose from 3D models sized from 4 to 8 inches. The first of these 3D-printing photobooths will roll out in Japan's stylish Harajuku district beginning on November 24th and will be available for everyone 3D-printing needs until January 14th next year.

Now this is a different way to showcase your vanity.
