Rex Ryan Voted Most Overrated Coach in the NFL by Players

Rex Ryan of the New York Jets came out on top of a Sporting News poll that asked 103 current players who is the most overrated coach in the league. I can't say I disagree. I've seen some people saying it should be Andy Reid (who was third in the poll), but at least Reid got to a Super Bowl and five NFC Championship games, including four straight.

Ryan got the Jets to two consecutive AFC Championship games in Mark Sanchez's first two years, then started proclaiming they were going to win it all, and now they're a joke.

I'd take Reid over Ryan, and the way things are going there might be some teams who will have to make that choice in the offseason. I was also a little surprised to see Bill Belichick on the list. I guess five Super Bowl appearances with three wins doesn't impress some guys.
