The Seahawks and Patriots game wasn't nationally televised, so there's a good chance a lot of you didn't see this one. If the NFL didn't tell ESPN to stop doing their 'Jacked Up' segments, this would have been the hit of the week. But the League doesn't want to appear as if they're glorifying bone crunching hits, so this one may have escaped your eyeballs.
Brandon Browner of Seattle absolutely lowered the effing boom on New England's Wes Welker. The hit was legal, it was clean, and it sounded like someone piped in explosion sound effects. Good on Welker for getting right up, but he gets right up and says to the sideline that he needs a break. I'd bet that Welker is still feeling this one today, but he stayed in the game and lit it up again. But holy hell, Browner read this perfect and delivered what could be the hit of the year so far.
