Borderlands 2’s Mechromancer Twitter Account Created, Skill Tree Revealed

In a quirky little campaign, Gearbox Software has been teasing the inevitable release of the newest addition to the handful of playable characters for Borderlands 2. Gaige, better known as the 'Mechromancer', was originally announced long before the game's release but has yet to become playable in the game, which released back in September.

In an attempt to raise hype and get players familiar with the Mechromancer, Gearbox Software has created a Twitter account for the newest character, where she began slowly revealing certain elements of her skill tree, based on fan votes, and ECHO files that give you a better taste of her personality. Since her social network debut last week, Gaige has slowly revealing more about herself including her fully interactive skill tree which can be found on the official Borderlands 2 site.

The skill tree is broken up into three different branches: Best Friends Forever, Little Big Trouble and Ordered Chaos. Like the other playable characters in the game, each branch focuses on a different aspect of combat, so play around with it and plan out your next playthrough.

Gaige the Mechromancer will be available October 16 for PS3, Xbox 360 and PC.
