One of the perks of living in New York is being smack right in the middle of all the action. It's easy to fall in love with the sights and sounds of the city, which is probably why it's the location of choice for many filmmakers.
Cinephile Christopher Moloey hails from none other than the Big Apple, and he sure knows his movies. He's the man behind the 'philm' photos on FILMography, where he has managed to combine film with photography to come up with a series of fresh and awesomely cool images to fill up his entire blog.
Here's the basic premise that Chris is working with: he travels all over the city (and the world) carrying printouts of particular scenes from noteworthy movies, both old and new, like The Avengers, Ghostbusters, The Hangover, and Vanilla Sky. When he arrives at the location where the scene was shot, he holds the screencap and shoots.
Now that's truly being on location.
We rounded up our favorite bunch of favorite photos from Moloey's domain. Head on over to FILMographyto check out more!
