Jason Statham did a mighty fine job as the transporter in his titular movie franchise, but now he's passed on the reigns to Chris Vance.

Vance is set to don Stath's sharp suits and drive his fast cars in the Transporter TV series that's roughly based on the Transporter movies that starred Statham. He'll be playing Frank Martin, a transporting specialist who makes sure that the packages--whatever (or whoever) they are--get delivered safely.

For the series, Cinemax teamed up with producer Luc Besson, who was also the producer of the original Transporter movies. The project was originally confirmed last year, and we're finally getting our first preview of it through this trailer.

No premiere date has been announced yet, but stay tuned, because we have a feeling it's going to be sometime soon!
