It is easy to harp on Terrell Owens; too easy in fact. With all the stuff that he has done and said over the years it is so much easier to believe that he will be the same selfish, egomaniac in Seattle that he has been pretty much everywhere else he has played. He can talk about changing and wanting to be a part of thing rather than the center, but why should we believe him with the history that he has?
After a recent video was posted to Seahawks head coach Pete Carroll's website we just might have reason to believe him.
Carroll has a reputation for keeping it loose and comfortable. He hasn't hesitated to have celebs at practice and even has a DJ spin tunes. The man has also been known for pulling pranks on new teammates. However, in this case it was TO and Carroll that pulled one on the rest of the team.
I don't want to ruin it for you, but I think it takes a big man--a humble one--that can poke fun at himself by exploiting a persona that he is widely believed to have. It might have taken awhile, but Owens might finally be the good teammate he has always claimed to be.
