When you give access to 30 MLB teams' Facebook pages to employees who you aren't paying decently, sh#t happens. That's probably what MLB Advanced Media realized when the MLB Facebook fiasco broke out, which resulted in the defacement of nine MLB teams' pages on Facebook.
Users who fanned more than one of the affected pages probably realized something was up when the nutty posts and status updates went up. Facebook responded and worked with their "partners", but for some reason, labeled them as 'spam', which they clearly weren't. Maybe the Internet's largest social media network need to check their notes and check the definition for spam.
Recently, several Pages made unauthorized posts as a result of actions from a single rogue administrator of these Pages. Our team responded quickly and worked with our partners to eliminate the spam caused by this attack.

Weird thing is, Facebook wasn't even the one who took down the posts; it was still the 'rogue administrator' who did it.
Here are the posts:
New York Yankees. We regret to inform our fans that Derek Jeter will miss the rest of the season with sexual reassignment surgery. He promises to come back stronger than ever in 2013 as Minni Mantlez.
Chicago Cubs. F#ck Bill Murray.
San Francisco Giants. Wow, the Chick-fil-A guy sure is an asshole.
Chicago White Sox. Everyone knows President Obama is a die hard ChiSox Fan. Unfortunately, we're voting for Romney.
Miami Marlins. Just a reminder tonight is FREE PITBULL NIGHT at Marlins Park. The first 10,000 fans ages 18 and under will receive a free rescued fighting Pitbull courtesy of the Dade County Animal Rescue League.
San Diego Padres. Just a note: though the handicapped are allowed to enjoy Padres games at Petco Park their attendance is strongly discouraged.
Washington Nationals. We're going back to Montreal. SEE YA SUCKERS!!!!!!!!
Los Angeles Angels of Manaheim. Check out the sweet bazongas on the blond in section 27, row 3!
Atlanta Braves. We want to remind female fans that there is a chance of their panties getting wet tonight as Chipper Jones is back in the lineup. #ThisIsWhyWeChop
Deadspin talked to person responsible for the posts, who reportedly said that they were apparently made as a 'stunt' and weren't meant to be seen by the public. Question is, why did it end up viewable for the general public?
