I'm sure you've done it at least once or twice when you were bored. By 'it', I mean Google yourself, of course. You might've been surprised at the amount of dirt stuff the search engine giant found about you, but it shouldn't be, considering many people post personal information online and it's bound to get crawled on by search engines.

What you might not be aware of is the impact or implication of having all your data online. The Internet is a public domain. So really, you shouldn't wonder why that prospective employer suddenly lost interest in you, or why that hot girl you met last week stopped returning your calls after she initially seemed to dig you? Thing is, it could all be because of Google--and what they have on you.

Admit if. When you're curious about someone, what you do first is do a Google search to look them up. The first few search results often contain social media profiles, followed by random articles that may or may not be directly related to the person in question. And 15% of the time, there's bound to be something bad about the searched subject.

Curious? Google yourself and check out the results for yourself. Then check out the infographic in the gallery above to compare your stats--and do something about it.
