The long-in-development adaptation of Yann Martel's 2001 novel about a shipwrecked Indian youth stuck on a lifeboat with the world's most dangerous petting zoo finally has a trailer. The trailer is full of great imagery and swelling orchestral music and two less gay cowboys than Lee's last movie.

Pi is a youth who is the only person to survive the sinking of a freighter. He finds himself on a lifeboat with a hyena, a zebra, an orangutan, and a Bengal tiger.

Life of Pi hits theaters in 3D on November 21st.
