There's no denying the fact that social media can get pretty addicting. What started out as checking profiles of people in your network at least once a day might have no turned into full-blown stalking--and there's a bigger chance of this happening if you've just went through a break-up.
This begs the question: what the heck is social media really for? The answers are pretty obvious if you just take a step back and look at how it was really meant to be used. (And no, it's really not for stalking exes.)
Check out this infographic from Schools.com (of all places!) that illustrates the importance of social media--if you use it the way it was meant to.
