The 100M dash is already one of the more highly anticipated events of the upcoming London Summer Olympics. From the U.S. team, Justin Gatlin and Tyson Gay were already expected to push world record holder Usain Bolt. When they qualified with times of 9.8 and 9.86 respectively they showed reason for Bolt to be concerned.

Usain will have to watch out for one of his own countrymen now too. The fastest man on the planet was not the fastest man in Jamaica during the country's Olympic trials. Bolt lost to countryman Yohan Blake in the finals of the 100M dash Olympic trials in Jamaica Friday night. Blake ran a 9.75 while Bolt ran a 9.86.

Bolt has given Blake credit for being a class runner, but blames Nesta Carter for causing a distraction by flinching prior to the starter's gun going off. In reality, Bolt was likely a little nervous about scratching from the race with a false start. That was how he lost the world championship last year (coincidentally to Blake).
