It looks like things are moving full speed ahead with the fourth installment of Jurassic Park. Given how Paramount Pictures has announced the delay for two other much-awaited sequels in their shelves, G. I. Joe: Retaliationand the Ninja Turtlesreboot, this is great news! At least for Universal, who's going to behind Jurassic Park 4.
We don't have any official titles, cast members, or directors yet, because the project is still at its roaring infancy. But as Steven Spielberg has just recently confirmed, the follow up to Jurassic Park 3 is definitely a go!
What we do have, though, are writers. And a couple of good ones at that.
Deadline reports that Universal Studios have tapped Rick Jaffa and Amanda Silver to write the script for the movie. If their names sound familiar to you, it's probably because they were also the awesome writers who wrote Rise of the Planet of the Apes.
Spielberg won't be directing Jurassic Park 4, although he will be producing it Kathleen Kennedy. It's been more than a decade since the third Jurassic Park movie was released, so this should be good.
