So you might have already heard by now that Jason Bourne is no more in The Bourne Legacy. It's weird, considering that the movie's title still bears his surname–but it does allude to the fact that you won't be seeing Matt Damon's mug in the flick, considering the "legacy" part.
Bringing the fourth Robert Ludlum book to life is The Bourne Legacy and it's new frontman named Aaron Cross, who's portrayed brilliantly by Jeremy Renner. You might remember seeing Renner play the brainwashed Hawkeye in The Avengers that took the box office by storm last month.
Without further ado, check out the first TV spot released for The Bourne Legacy in the player above and see how Renner does in his action scenes, minus the wings.
Not too shabby, eh? Catch more of Renner and Aaron Cross when The Bourne Legacy hits theaters on August 3rd. Starring alongside Renner are Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Albert Finney, and Joan Allen.
