GAMING

MadFinger Games' iOS and Android FPS certainly looks to be a real technical tour de force. The aesthetic, as this fleeting clip makes plain, is an attempt at the dank dystopian feel favoured by console zombie shooters, and is frankly astounding for the platform. Have you ever seen such graphically fine bloody-viscera-splatterings in mobile gaming?
I rather think you haven't.
HEAD GOES SQUISH NOW! HELL YEAH, SEXY TIME! As I remarked upon viewing. I'm sure you did too. Fear not, my brethren, you had right on your side in doing so. It really is the most graphically-intensive mobile experience I've seen since Infinity Blade.
While I'm not much of a mobile gamer myself, I have been favourably impressed by the advances this aspect of the medium has been making recently. Mobile titles are flourishing, and there seem to be fledgling endeavours towards palatability for console players too. It's almost enough to make me begin consideration of a smartphone purchase. A possibility that once seemed as remote as sifting through one of my freshly-laid turds and finding a pure diamond amongst the brown ghastliness.
But can Dead Trigger live up to its magnificent early promise? Check back with Egotastic! throughout the week, as we bring you all the latest updates from E3. You have no say in the matter, we shall simply provide exhaustive info-knowledge. (Much like the cat that regurgitates two-eighths of a mangled mouse-corpse on your doormat, before looking at you with an anguished it's a gift. You're going to flagrantly reject my gift? What the hell, man?I thought you were cool expression on its adorable cat face.)
