Don't get me wrong here folks. I love Los Angeles. It is a thriving, exciting metropolis of dreamers and beleivers that think they have something that the whole world wants to watch, and if the world doesn't, well--it's the world's loss (and the beaches are great too).
Maybe that's why I enjoyed watching a team from the middle of nowhere America (sorry, Oklahoma City, but there isn't much to you) take it to Tinseltown and show those pretty boys that there needs to be some substance (not named Kobe) behind the flash. When the flash isn't enough--like last night in Game Two of the Western Conference Semi-finals--Hollywood does not get its happy ending.
This shot by Kevin Durant capped an incredible comeback by the Oklahoma City Thunder to put them up 76-75. They went on to beat the Los Angeles Lakers 77-75 and take a commanding 2-0 lead as the series heads out west for Game Three.
