It's been twelve years since Blizzard released Diablo II, so hoards of gamers are understandably antsy and crazy excited while waiting for the release of the game's sequel, Diablo III.
So without further ado, we bring you Diablo III's new TV spot for your viewing pleasure.
Early last month, Blizzard confirmed that the game would be shipping out without PvP to ensure that its release wouldn't be delayed. However, players can expect PvP gameplay to be implemented with a post-release patch once the game is out.
As we're counting down the days until we're ready to announce a release date for Diablo III, we've come to realize that the PvP game and systems aren't yet living up to our standards. We wanted to let you know that we've made the difficult decision to hold back the PvP Arena system and release it in a patch following the game's launch.
-- Jay Wilson, Diablo III lead designer
First announced at Blizzard's Worldwide Invitational four years ago, Diablo III will see a May 15th release for the North American and European markets, while Latin American countries and Russia will have to wait until June 7th to get their hands on the game.
