‘The Expendables 2’ To Be R-Rated

On its release The Expendables managed to create a stir amongst old school action fans and was also able to perform quite successfully at the box office too. Because of this Stallone has been allowed to gather the old gang back together to make a sequel to the 2010 bloodfest which will also include Jason Statham, Jet Li, Dolph Lundgren, Randy Coutre, Terry Crews, Bruce Willis, Arnold Schwarzenger and Chuck bloody Norris.

However rumours have persisted that the follow up will be a family friendly affair so that more people will get to see it. Stallone has now taken to the tremendously titled The Stallone Zone website to reject these claims noting, "After taking in all the odd rumours and hearsay, EXPENDABLES II is an R." 

There were reports that Norris had insisted that the script be completely void of swearing in order for him to sign on and Stallone himself had even previously confirmed that the film would be a PG-13. However the Rocky star seems to have reversed his decision on the certificate and we can now expect a high dose of gore, guts, blood and disfigurement upon the films release later this year.
