T-Mobile is set to add the Samsung Galaxy Blaze to their lineup of Android-powered smartphones. The release date is set for March 21st, while retail outlets all over the country will be receiving the units by March 28th.
The Samsung Galaxy Blaze has a price tag of $149.99, provided you sign up for a new two-year contract with T-Mobile. It will be offered with a $50 mail-in rebate card, which you can take advantage to get more savings.
The Blaze is one of the units that belong in the more high-end devices that are being offered by the carrier, which will soon include the yet-to-be-announced iPhone 5.
Now, on to the specs. The Galaxy Blaze is equipped with a 3.97-inch AMOLED capacitive touchscreen with a resolution of 480 x 800 pixels. It can also snap pretty decent shots with its 5-megapixel rear-facing camera and 1.3-megapixel front-facing shooter. The phone is powered by Android 2.3.6 Gingerbread and has a 1.5 GHz Qualcomm Snapdragon S3 dual-core processor running under its hood.
