Most people think that cheaply priced phones are lacking in features and assume that they'd probably be come with a pretty crappy camera. The $19.99 ZTE Fury that's currently available from Sprint, however, might change their minds.
The ZTE Fury is a smartphone powered by Android and it's only that cheap after you take advantage of the $50 mail-in rebate. As with most plans that offer a handset at an extremely discounted rate, you'd also need to sign up for a 2-year contract with Sprint. So if you (or your kid) happen to be in the market for a decent smartphone with pretty decent features for a more than decent price, then you (or your kid) might want to look into the Fury.
The ZTE Fury is described as a "family-friendly" smartphone that runs on Android 2.3 Gingerbread. It comes equipped with a 3.5-inch IPS capactive display with a resolution of 480x320 and has a 5-megapixel rear camera with LED flash. Sprint is pushing this device for parents to give to their kids because of some of the apps it comes loaded with, like the Sprint Family Locator that lets one family member locate and check up on the others on an interactive map.
Aside from that, the Fury comes programmed with Sprint's ID so you can apply custom themes and app packs. Here's a quick rundown of its other features:
