Alexandra Daddario To Play Nicole Eggert’s Character in ‘Baywatch’ Movie

A few weeks ago, Paramount and director Seth Gordon settled on a short list for the female lead in the upcoming Baywatch movie. It included Alexandra Daddario (San Andreas), Ashley Benson (Pretty Little Liars), Nina Dobrev (Vampire Diaries), Alexandra Ship (Straight Outta Compton), Shelly Henning (Teen Wolf), Bianca Santos (The Duff), and Denyse Tontz (Big Time Rush).

The winner? Alexandra Daddario. Which should hardly come as a surprise seeing as how Dwayne Johnson is starring in Baywatch, and Daddario played his daughter in San Andreas. 

According to The Rock, Daddario will play Summer Quinn, a character played by Nicole Eggert in the original series. 

If you've seen the first season of HBO's True Detective, in which Daddario played Woody Harrelson's mistress, then you know she'll fill out Eggert's red one-piece quite nicely. (Here's a NSFW link if you're curious.)

Now we just have to wait to find out who will play Pamela Anderson's C.J. Parker.
