Batman: Arkham Knight's last DLC wasn't the most generous slice of bat-tastic. A half hour story mission as Harley Quinn? Nuts to that. That's small time, and our ol' buddy Bruce doesn't swing that way. But fear not, Arkham lovers. Something big is on the way.
The Matter of Family prequel story stars none other than Batgirl, and features the Joker doing all manner of bastardly Joker-ish things. After he commits a high-profile kidnapping and swears to murder his hostage if Batman shows up, who's left to fight the good fight? Girl Batman, that's who.
As was the case with Harley, Batgirl plays almost identically to the Caped Crusader himself. In terms of combat style and general attack moves, slim to eff all has changed. Other than, of course, a slightly different array of gadgets. Presumably she also has the power to change the Clooney-nipples on the batsuit from ridiculous to rather arousing, but I haven't had a close enough look at the DLC to confirm whether they made it in or not yet.
Elsewhere, the iconic Mark Hamill Joker is back in action, which is always a good thing. For all the bazookas, goon-garotting and Arkham-business-as-usual-with-a-slight-twist you need today, check out the trailer below.
The add on will be available for season pass owners on July 14, and will be sold separately from July 21.
