You know how it is with these high flying, successful, check-out-my-solid-gold-scrote business dudes. Oftentimes, they lose sight of their ideals, of what got them where they are in the first place. If they were ever assed about that to begin with, in their pursuit of the almighty dollar.
When you visit Dodgy Dave's Finest Grade F Horsemeat Hamburgers, do his eyes light up with that same childlike joy and enthusiasm for patty-making they once had? Of course not. Because Dave's hit the big time, and all he sees now are dollar signs.
But that's not always the case. Shuhei Yoshida, head of Sony Computer Entertainment Worldwide, is a gamer in a big way. Bloodborne, one of the most difficult titles of recent times, is now his bitch. Over on PlayStation Blog, he showcased his combat skills to prove it.
In the lengthy clip below, we see Yoshida venturing through the Defiled Chalice dungeon. On his own save file, as his own level 172 character, in his own spangly high end gear (he's platinumed the game, natch), he lays the smack down on the Watchdog, one of the hardest bosses Bloodborne has to offer.
He's playing on the Japanese version and something's a little lost in translation --the boss's name is ‘in English, the Flaming Watchdog Of... Something,' quoth Yoshida-- but the language of badassery is universal. Check it out.
