Weekend Videos – LUCYinLA: Give Her a Job – Brought to You By Sony

YouTube is fast becoming (or has actually become) the best place to get any and all video content on the web. But beyond posting clips of TV shows, and people getting hit in the nads, it's given everyday people the chance to literally broadcast themselves.

This week, I found someone on YouTube who I really think deserves more attention. Her name is LUCYinLA (or at least that's her screenname), and she wants to be an actress. Not only does she bear a striking resemblance to Natalie Portman (which is worth, like, 1,000,000 bonus points), she's also funny, smart, and real.

So watch these videos from LUCYinLA's YouTube video blogs, and get a look into the life of a real girl trying to make it big in LA. And someone, give this girl a job, because as much as I'd love to see her continue to post these great videos, I'd much rather see her get a TV show of her own.

And since the videos above were pretty much speaking to the commercial nature of Hollywood, and because Sony Pictures Television was nice enough to send me a shiny new PlayStation Portable, I thought I'd be nice enough to show you these videos from some of the new shows they have coming out. I was gonna write something funny about all this, but over at Best Week Ever, Fred did a much better job than me. Anyway, watch these videos so that Sony might send me some more free stuff.

By the way, the LUCYinLA videos are not some kind of viral thing from Sony. I actually really wanted to post those.
