GAMING

Nope, do not adjust your Egotastic!. This isn’t April Fools pisstakery.
If you’ve been around for a while, you’ll know that I’m not convinced by the whole ‘pro gamer’ thing. Multimillion prizes for playing Halo and such just doesn’t sit right with me. It might be a little more legit than Kim Kardashian making similar sums for flashing her cooch at camera lenses, but still.
As such, statues immortalizing these dudes and their ‘athletic’ prowess seem a little odd. Still, it looks like they’re becoming a thing, so my ass will just have to deal with it.
Among pro gamers, Street Fighter legend Daigo is probably one of the best known. He’s been doing the rounds for a long time now, and his Ryu/Evil Ryu is the kind of thing that makes competitors lose bowel control at 100 paces. The man is a gaming demon.
And so, we’ve arrived at this: Daigo Umehara the action figure. He’s joined by said favorite characters there on his stand, looking remarkably ordinary with his lil’ arcade stick. If you want yourself a piece of Daigo, the figure will be available to preorder in June. Just in time for EVO 2016.
