When you think of responsible drinkers, Sienna Miller probably isn't the first name that pops into your head, but that's what Sienna insists she is. According to ContactMusic, Miller says she grew up surrounded by drunken, partying adults, and thinks plenty of booze is just a regular thing.
I was brought up in a culture where, when you're 12 years old, you're given a glass of wine at dinner - it was never a novelty.
I grew up being put to sleep upstairs in a spare room, and you're sort of half awake and you can hear the laughing and smell cigarettes and booze, and then they carry you home and you pretend to be asleep.
You can smell wine and cigarettes on their breath. That's like mother's milk to me.
Yeah, I'm pretty sure that being given wine when you're twelve, and associating the smell of cigarettes and alcohol with the joys of youth isn't a normal thing. I mean, if you follow her logic, Nicole Richie is just a little on the thin side, Paris Hilton is an honours student, and Lindsay Lohan is the paragon of virtue. Then again, Sienna was most likely drunk when she said all this...
