Tony Stark Gives a New Meaning to Extended Trailer in the Extended ‘Iron Man 3’ Super Bowl Spot (VIDEO)

The best thing about the Super Bowl last night was definitely the black out. Because that meant I was able to go back and rewatch some of the movie spots that had aired in between all the really, really embarrassingly bad commercials. Thankfully we had the Iron Man 3 spot to make up for it. Though I must admit that at first I thought it was a commercial for a re-showing of Air Force One that CBS was inexplicably airing after the big game (not even joking either).

If the 30-second long snippet of the in-air plane destruction scene looks familiar, that's probably because a near-identical scene appeared in Superman Returns, but somehow in just half-a-minute, director Shane Black managed to put more suspense and gravitas into the work than in the entirety of the Returns scene (or anything from the entirety of that movie, to be honest).
