When ‘Grand Theft Auto V’ Met ‘Watch Dogs’

Grand Theft Auto V's legions of modders will not and cannot be stopped. Ever. The series has a long and proud history of batshit craziness, and that's not something you turn your back on. From rampaging through Liberty City as the Hulk to swimming through a completely flooded San Andreas, these guys have made everything possible.

  But the mod-tastic community have excelled themselves with this one. A Grand Theft Auto V/Watch Dogs mashup, and an awesomely well done one at that. I'm all kinds of on board, and if this was a retail game, I'd be all over it.

That's the thing with Grand Theft Auto V. It's set in a huge-ass, expansive, free-roamy world, but a lot of it isn't all that interactive. Which is where all the extra hacking goodtimes of Watch Dogs comes in. JulioNIB's Watch Dogs hacks script mod adds all kinds of funky details and functionality to the game.

‘You can explode pretty much anything, make all the cars at an intersection accelerate as quickly as possible into each other, even make trains speed up so much that they derail,' quoth Kotaku. Consider me sold.
