This Lamp is The Bomb: Megaton Floor Lamp

If you need a new lamp and don't want any of that IKEA crap, then here's one alternative for you: the Megaton Floor Lamp. Crafted by Stockpile Designs of Brooklyn, NY, the lamp is made from an actual casing of a 100-pound kinetic bomb from the Korean War. It's set almost four feet above the ground by a narrow stand, which looks like it can break any second now (but of course, it doesn't.)

The original paint is stripped away, and the underlying steel hand-polished until it gleams. Special hardware keeps the bomb safely in place, while allowing for easy disassembly. An optional linen shade shields the dual sockets.

It's a reminder of the war that was and makes for a gnarly addition to your home.
