Bots, Badassery and Burn Cards in ‘Titanfall: Inside the Beta’ (VIDEO)

Huzzah! As IGN mocktastically promised, the Titanfall beta is underway today. To accompany it, a spangly new trailer was released this week showcasing what will be available. It's almost as though PR dudes plan this kind of crap out, the better to get their claws on our money. We imagine them all lurking in a secret bunker somewhere, looking like Ebeneezer Scrooge.

But anywho, here's Inside the Beta, a fancy little showcase from the developers. They promise a teaser for the full game, the opportunity to sample game modes and customization options, and a whole lot of crazy-ass jumping.

Oh, the jumping. It's like a low-gravity parkour exhibition, further fuelled by that green shit Robin Williams put on his shoes in Flubber. This level of mobility is certainly unlike anything you'll usually see in an FPS, and lends an intriguing element to gameplay. This is the much-ballyhooed ‘verticality' from the clip, and it's coming our way on March 11.
