Netflix has had a lot of success so far making TV shows out of Marvel characters. Jessica Jones, Daredevil, and Luke Cage are bonafide hits. So, it's not a surprise that they want to keep the party going with whatever franchise they can dig up from the Marvel back catalog. We now have Iron Fist, the latest minor Marvel character to get his own show. It tells the tale of a young man who gets lost in the land of K'un-Lun and learns advanced martial arts. He can then punch things really hard, hence the name. The show stars Game of Thrones star Finn Jones who has been out of work since Cersei Lannister blew him up in the Sept of Baelor. Can Finn carry his own show? He's certainly got a lot of cute curly hair and a smooth chest tattoo going for him.
The trailer looks cool, but then again trailers can be deceiving. Remember back in '98 when the Phantom Menace trailer looked badass? I do. I'm cautiously optimistic.Â
