We're a little more than a month away from the release of Atomic Blonde and I have to say that the studio is doing a great job of teasing out the advertising for this flick. The first clip released showed Charlize Theron in full-on assassin mode, the second showed her in full-on seductress mode, and now we've got this new clip introducing James McAvoy's character David Percival. 

I have to say that I rather enjoy the character path that McAvoy has taken. He seems to be going the Ewan McGregor route of mixing big budget blockbusters with off-kilter indie flicks and under the radar movies like this one. It's a smart trajectory, especially considering the glut of hunks all vying to be the next Leonardo DiCaprio. Thumbs up James, you're doing it right.

Anyway, Atomic Blonde is shaping up to be one of the more enjoyable films of the summer, which isn't honestly saying all that much considering the dreck we've gotten thus far in 2017. All the same, it's still nice in this day and age when a movie can fly under the radar and sneak up on people rather than revealing every nook and cranny of the film in the trailers. Atomic Blonde hits theaters on July 28.
