Well, That Sucked
True to what Jolene (T'Pol) Blalock said*, the final episode of Star Trek Enterprise was very dissapointing, to say the least.
As a grande finale, it was nothing of the sort. Instead of some stirring final message, which might hope to encapsulate the series, we watch the crew of the Enterprise undertake a meaningless mission, all from the point of view of a bloated Riker and Troy on the Holodeck of the Next Generation Enterprise. If they really needed to bring us back to the 24th century, couldn't we at least see Riker's new ship, the Titan? (Sorry, nerd moment there)
There was absolutely no connection to the preceding episode, and I don't even think it was true to Star Trek lore, placing the founding of the Federation at too late a date.
What a crappy way to end the series. If they ever bring Star Trek back, they should keep Brannon Braga far, far away.
