Who Will DC Comic’s Openly Gay Character Be?

DC comics announced yesterday that they will force one of their characters out of the closet. This is pretty huge. No mainstream comic company has done this with one of their title characters. I think that’s pretty cool. If homosexuals can get married, why shouldn’t they fight super villains with death rays from their eyes or whatever? No one knows which character is going to be the token gay dude/lesbian. Here are some possibilities for DC’s first homosexual character.

Has The Description Of Several ‘Man Of Steel’ Scenes Been Leaked?

Zack Snyder's reboot of the Superman franchise is set to be one of 2013's biggest movies. With the visionary 300 director helming the project that is based on a story by Christopher Nolan and David S. Goyer, excitement is rife with general consensus being that the film could fill the gap being left by the Dark Knight trilogy.

However without there being a teaser trailer to fawn over, people are having to grasp any iota of information regarding the film and then use this to predict what could be in store. However they now have some news to speculate over.

Two descriptions of separate scenes from the film have been posted on an IMDB message board with the source saying that he worked on the film as a visual effects supervisor.

Sounds like a bloody liability to me but we must thank him for providing us with some information regarding the film.

Weekend Videos – Kevin Smith on Superman

Regardless of what you thought of Superman Returns, just be happy that it didn't come out as it was originially drafted. Because according to Kevin Smith, there was no Super suit, no flying, a giant spider, and a gay R2D2. .

Have you ever seen synchronized treadmill dancing? Me neither, until I saw the music video for "" by OK Go.

If Supersize Me wasn't enough to put you off fast food, than the should just about do the trick.

Next time you go to the beach, make sure there isn't a nearby.

You Will Believe – Superman Returns

The wait was worth it.

In 1987, I was seven years old, and since then, for nearly 20 years, I have been waiting for this movie. From the very first frame, to the very last, Superman Returns was everything I could have wanted it to be, and maybe more. Believe me, I had some high expectations, and I wasn't let down.

I'm not going to spoil the film with any plot points, or hints. I'll just say that the special effects, action scenes, dramatic moments, characters and story were stellar. This is, without a doubt, the best movie of the year, the best Superman movie yet, and possibly the best Superhero film ever.

Yes, that sounds like hyperbole, and right now, I feel about as high as Superman flying over the Earth, but that's how you're supposed to feel after watching this movie. I haven't read any other reviews, and I'm not going to. It doesn't matter what any film critic might say (and most of them are saying great things). This is a movie that the fans will love, and so will everyone else.

Superman, Lois Lane, and even Lex Luthor are some of the most beloved characters in the world, and in this movie Brandon Routh, Kate Bosworth, Kevin Spacey, and Bryan Singer truly make them come alive again.

For 2 hours and 34 minutes, you will believe a man can fly. And you will believe in Superman.

Kate Bosworth is Super Skinny

I know I've already discussed the fact that Kate Bosworth is really skinny, but I really wanted to use that pun in the headline, and also, I couldn't find anything else to write about.

Anyway, so Kate Bosworth is skinny, and I'm really excited for Superman Returns (I've been humming the Superman theme song continuously for the past week), but I just hope she doesn't look this skinny in the movie. Maybe Bryan Singer used some of that crazy huge budget to plump her up a bit.
