Star Wars on BitTorrent?
Apparently not...
Cinematical has downloaded what, at first appearance, seemed to ba a copy of Star Wars Episode III from the BitTorrent P2P network. Well, it turns out that the file is in fact not Revenge of the Sith, but most likely a deterrent instigated by the MPAA or the movie studio, to try and curb pirating of the film prior to its worldwide theatrical release.
I'm all for downloading Torrents, but what I don't get is why people would want to ruin the experience of seeing the film for the first time on the big screen (possibly even projected digitally) by watching a crappy camcorder version on there computer monitor. It doesn't make sense.
