Mission Impossible 3 Doesn’t Inspire
Are you as excited as I'm not about Mission Impossible 3? Sure, it's being directed by J.J. Abrams (Alias, Lost) which seems like a good fit. Abrams is always best when he hasn't had five seasons on TV to fuck something up. And the addition of Keri Russell (Felicity) as the female lead could be really good. She's a great actress, and, you know, pretty and what not, but it's definitely not the type of movie I would have seen her being in. There's also a lot of great supporting cast members including Laurence Fishburne, Philip Seymour Hoffman, Ving Rhames, Billy Crudup, Jonathan Rhys-Meyers, Simon Pegg, Sasha Alexander, Michelle Monaghan, and the old J.J. Abrams stand-by, Greg Grunberg. Of course, the biggest problem with the film, and one which I may not be able to get over, is the inclusion of Tom Cruise. 'Cause, you know, Tom Cruise is a tool
