I'm not sure how to feel about the reboot of the Conan the Barbarian film franchise. I kind of feel like I'm cheating on Arnold Schwarzenegger in a way. I don't mean like banging the chunky cleaning lady kind of cheating, but that first film was pretty iconic for me in terms of fantasy books turned into films. I suppose I'll go into it with an open mind, and a pair of ogling eyes, thanks in large part to the hotties on the red carpet of the premiere last night, not the least of which was film co-star and fast rising hottie, Rachel Nichols, along with a sweet looking Zoe Kravitz, and a dolled up to perfection Rose McGowan. It was enough to unleash my inner-Barbarian, you know, after I take a nap. Enjoy.

Comic-Con 2011 Roundup: Ashley Greene, Kate Beckinsale, Nina Dobrev Lead List of Hotties At the Running of the Nerds

It's amazing what can happen when a few (thousand) geeks get together for their annual summer nerdenhaven festival known as Comic-Con, wherein the powers of geekdom become so intense and focused, the time-space continuum so fluxed with fanboy fapping, that you can actually bear witness to the Einstein theory on relativity -- that is, these bespectacled jelly wonkers only chance to have actual sex is with their neckgear wearing cousins.

Nevertheless, where there's nerds, there's discretionary entertainment dollars, and that brings out the sexy celeb hotties in droves ready to pimp and promote the shizz out of their latest projects, whether they be fiction scientific, like Total Recall,  or just super fabulous terrific, like Glee. Super-duper-hero level hotties at the convention center included the eternally-wood-inducing Kate Beckinsale, the vastly underrated Nina Dobrev, uber-sexy Ashley Green, along with a gaggle of additional girl-awesome power provided by Summer Glau, Minka Kelly, Rachel Nichols, Olivia Munn, Emma Stone, Kristen Stewart, Charlize Theron, Jessica Biel, Rose McGowan, Nikki Reed, Anna Paquin, and a special salute to the trying-epically-hard-to-be-patented-leather-geek-erotic, Adrianne Curry, in many special costumes. Brooklyn Decker Leads List of Hotties (Once Again) at the ESPY Awards

Just like last year, super model sportsy hottie Brooklyn Decker took the title of sexiest red carpet babe at last night's ESPY Awards in Los Angeles. She'll probably win that particular title until she actually drops out of the competition. I love the ESPYs for the mere fact that there's absolutely no reason to have these awards other than to bring together a bunch of big named professional athletes with a bunch of big named super sexy celebrities, and, therein, is plenty reason enough.

In addition to Brooklyn Decker, ESPY sextastic standouts included lesbionic awesome Amber Heard, sportscaster hottie Erin Andrews, boobtastic Kendra Wilkinson, TV hostess Jill Wagner, hot TV actress Jaime Pressly, Bethany Hamilton, the world's sexiest one-armed surfer, Indy driver Danica Patrick, model Damaris Lewis, sexy-thesp Kerry Washington, Olympic skier Lindsey Vonn, and our recently featured amazingly hot Rachel Nichols.

I'll admit jumping onboard the Rachel Nichols hotness train a bit late, not until seeing her as 'Scarlett' in G.I. Joe: Rise of Cobra a couple years ago. Wow, eye opener (and not a bad movie, seriously, not so bad). Now, the sextastic All-American girl from Maine will be taking on the leading female role in Conan the Barbarian coming out next month. You can count on some type of leather and metal costume certain to unleash your inner fetishist. And what else is G.I. Joe about besides big boobs in tank tops? But seriously, I really hope that G.I. Joe will be a good movie, because I can't handle another piece of my childhood being destroyed. Rachel Nichols is the new star of Alias. She was added to the show this year to bring in some new character dynamics, and, lets be honest, some more of the hottie factor. Sadly, it wasn't enough, and Alias has been cancelled. Rachel, however, I'm sure will go on to have a strong career.
