Here's Rachel Nichols on the set of the G.I. Joe movie, and if you weren't excited to see it before, you will be now. At least you will if you like seeing big boobs in tank tops. Rachel Nichols is the new star of Alias. She was added to the show this year to bring in some new character dynamics, and, lets be honest, some more of the hottie factor. Sadly, it wasn't enough, and Alias has been cancelled. Rachel, however, I'm sure will go on to have a strong career.

Something you may not have known about Rachel Nichols, though, is that she used to be a model, before getting into acting. And as a model, her dress code was significantly more relaxed. With the end of Alias looming large on the horizon, there aren't going to be so many opportunities to write about my new favourite actress, Rachel Nichols. Which means I'll be taking every chance I get, including this one. Now on to the matter at hand.

Alias Cancelled

ABC has finally made a smart move involving Alias. The show is being cancelled, and will go off the air at the end of this season, reports Yahoo! News. After five years, it has become clear that Alias is not the show it used to be. The circular plots and changing alliances have gotten so repetetive and mind-numbing, that it's becoming a chore to keep watching. Which guys are good? Which guys are bad? Which guys are dead? Does anyone care anymore? The show really has become a broken record of late, and it looks like the addition of Rachel Nichols just couldn't help save the failing series. ABC has said, however, that the show will be going out with a big ending, rather than slowly wrapping everything up. I guess that's enough to keep me watching until the end, but honestly, I just want to see who gets killed. It better be everybody. We don't need no spin-offs.

Originally, this post was a news item about the possibilty of Rachel Nichols replacing Jennifer Garner as the lead in Alias, come season six. However, after posting it, I realized that in the pictures below, Rachel Nichols' top is completely see-through. Thus, a change of focus was completely merited. Here's the original text:

Perez Hilton is saying that, according to Marc Malkin of The Insider, Jennifer Garner will not return to Alias after she finishes the upcoming fifth season, and that show newcomer Rachel Nichols will be replacing her in the lead role.

Can "Alias" survive without its leading lady, JENNIFER GARNER? Producers are hopeful. Source tells me that Garner has made it clear that she probably won't be returning to the show next year for a sixth season. Producers are apparently betting on this season's new co-star, RACHEL NICHOLS, to save the hit series. She plays a new spy being trained by Garner. If she's a hit, they're looking to make her the show's next star. Garner's rep didn't comment. An "Alias" rep says, "I haven't heard that so I can't confirm that."
